Iwould recommend Peaky Blinders as long as you're ok with some violent scenes. I think it's a good representation of the way people lived back in those days in Birmingham and probably the world over. It is really well done, the acting is really believably and pulls you in. If it's new to you, I'd suggest you watch it from the beginning.
